Sometimes while surfing online you suddenly have a burning desire to purchase something, but you don't have a credit card. No worries! There are other ways to buy online:
- Debit card.
Unlike from a credit card that may lead to debt, debit card is directly linked to your bank account. Once it's approved for online shopping and it has Visa or Mastercard logo on it as well as CVV number you will succeed in purchasing your desired item or service;
- Prepaid card.
Prepaid cards can be bought almost in every store and they work just like a credit or debit card. All you need for getting prepaid card is your ID get scanned and deposite money onto the card. Then you'll be able to purchase goods or services;
- Gift card.
Gift cards can be used anywhere debit or credit cards are used. While making a particular purchase, you just enter it on your payment page;
- Electronic funds transfer.
Such method will ask for your online banking account details. It works by transferring money from your personal checking account to the store. The full process of payment may take up to several business days and then you'll receive what you want. It should be noted that such payments can not be refunded;
Such method is not as popular anymore but still some online stores allow to buy an item and pay by check for it when it arrives;
- Pay by phone.
Some sites propose to purchase by phone, but this option is most acceptable for small amounts. Also you'll have to give the details of your bank account;
- Ask someone to pay for you.
You can simply ask a friend or a family member who has a credit card or some other working method to buy an item online and then you can just pay them back with cash or whichever way you both agree on.
All these methods have both pros and cons and may not be accepted on some sites, but still are the most common alternatives for paying without a credit card.
